Hi everyone! I hope you’ve all been having a fun and relaxing weekend. I’ve decided to start a new series called “Sunday Instagram Roundup” here on the blog since I know that not all of you who read my blog follow me on Instagram, and vice versa. Recently, I used an Instagram bio link solution so that is definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already! I thought it would be a great way to start the week and share some of my favorite photos that I shared from the previous week here on my blog.
If you do want to follow me on Instagram, you can find me [here].
Henry has been walking a LOT more! When Paxton is in the same room, Henry is typically a.) chasing him or b.) pulling his fur. We’re working on it!
These bookshelves in our dining room are getting a makeover. They were looking pretty bare and sad after all of the Christmas stuff came down, so I decided it was time for a little refresh. I’ll share more soon!
This one was at Christmastime, but I had to repost because it was one of my favorite photos of 2016. (Did you see my 2017 Home Goals post the other day? I shared our goals for the house but also a bunch of my favorite photos from 2016! You can see it [here].
Our home is feeling so much more light and fresh now that I’ve completely transitioned to “winter mode” from “Christmas mode.” If I’m being honest I’m starting to incorporate some more Spring-friendly décor because, well, let’s face it….winter isn’t really that fun after Christmas is over.
This cute tea towel was sent to me by Red Land Cotton – it’s super soft and there are several versions (all with different southern sayings). They also make sheets, and let me just say that if they’re anything like the tea towel…I am pretty sure I need them ASAP.
More winter (/spring) décor! ;)
I’m making it a goal to show more of myself on my blog and on my Instagram account in 2017. I’ve realized that it always bugs me when someone doesn’t post ANY photos of themselves on their accounts. It’s so nice to put a face to all of that décor, right?!
Another little throwback. We now have an antique church pew where that table-turned-entryway table once sat. You can see more photos of the pew [here] ! I walked around the corner the other day and found Henry and Paxton like this. He pulls his fur all of the time and Paxton tries to run, but I think secretly they’re becoming best friends. PS that “Farmhouse sweet farmhouse” pillow is from Porter Lane Home on Etsy!
I shared more pictures over on Instagram, but those are some of my favorites!
What do you think of this idea? Love it, hate it? Should I do it again next week?
Don’t forget that you can sign up to receive my emails – I send one out every time I publish a new post, so you’ll never miss out on anything that’s happening on Shady Lane! There’s a sign up form at the very top of the page. Let me know if you need any help!
I’m all over the web – follow me! Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat (lifeonshadylane), Facebook, Pinterest, and Bloglovin’.
