Working on creating an organic modern and rustic primary bedroom…it’s coming along slowly but surely!
THANK YOU to Nebraska Furniture Mart for sponsoring this post!

This post has been a long.time.coming. Seriously. I’ve been looking for a pair of nightstands that I loved for about 5 years. I don’t have a clue why they proved so difficult to find, but they did.
You can see what our bedroom looked like BEFORE right here.
Here are some nightstands I considered!
Keep scrolling to check out what it looks like now, for links to the nightstands and lamps we used (plus links to our area rug, etc.!)

Here’s what our bedroom looked like before – I’ve since swapped out the area rug, painted the walls, and of course added our pretty new nightstands and lamps!
Buy black and white area rug here
And here is what the room looks like now:
Nebraska Furniture Mart is, truly, one of my favorite places to shop for furniture because they have such a huge variety of styles. I’m always able to find something that I love! These nightstands stood out right away – I wanted something that would go well with the dresser we already own (also from NFM!) but not be too matchy-matchy. These are perfect!
The nightstands also have a cool feature – they have a thin metal strip in the back that you can touch (while in bed) to turn your lamp on quickly and easily without having to reach over and manually turn it on.
I also can’t get over these lamps! I wanted something substantial but still simple and these fit the bill perfectly. The shape and finish are exactly what I wanted, too. They have an organic feel to them, a little bit like stone. So pretty!
Buy sheet set here (we have the “natural” color and I am obsessed – worth every penny!)

PS: can we just talk about how much the new white paint brightened up the room?! I used the shade Alabaster by Sherwin Williams and love, love, love how it turned out. The bedroom doesn’t get much natural sunlight – there’s a big window, but it’s on the shady side of our home! So a lighter paint color really made it feel like such a different space and I love it.

A new Traeger grill for our backyard (plus a veggie burger recipe I love!)
