This Nordstrom Try-On January | Part 1 blog post may contain affiliate links
You guys! I had a whole Saturday morning to devote to this try-on so I’ll admit…it got a little out of control. I actually tried so much on that I’m going to split this one into two parts – I think it would just be too overwhelming with everything in one post!
EDIT: Check out Part 2 [here]!
I asked over on Instagram where you guys would like to see a try-on session for, and the consensus, by and large, was Nordstrom! I also asked whether everyone was still shopping for winter, or if spring was already on your minds. Most people said they’re still buying winter stuff, so that’s what I tried on. A bunch of the things I tried are great transitional pieces, though, to take you from winter to spring! Anyone else SO ready for warmer weather after the holidays, or is that just me?!
Everything on Nordstrom.com ships for free, and there’s even free shipping!
I hope you’ll check out some of my other posts while you’re here, too!

Oh and PS: as with all of my try-on sessions, you can shop each item directly below the photos (I’ll share direct links to everything!) or at the bottom of the post. The links I provide are affiliate links, which means if you use them to purchase anything, I will earn a small commission…but ONLY if you use the links I provide! If you would rather see the item in-store, I suggest buying online first and then picking up in-store. Thank you so much for supporting this blog! You guys are the reason I get to continue doing what I love to do.
I tried on just two pairs of jeans for Part 1, but lots of sweaters. So if that’s what you’re shopping for right now, you came to the right place!
This sweater’s stripes are so cute and the colors make it super-versatile (you could wear it during the fall, winter, and spring!). It’s not exactly a crop, but it’s not long either…it’s just the right length for wearing with jeans (and tucking in the front!).
These jeans were actually not my favorite, I felt like the fit was a little funky. I did like the cropped fit and raw hem, though!
Holy cow it’s so evident in this picture how dirty the mirror was – LOL! Sorry about that moving forward! ;)
This lace cami is SO cute and comes in three colors. It’s perfect for layering under sweaters and cardigans, and I love how high up the lace part comes – it looks so cute with off the shoulder sweaters (like the one below!). Fit is TTS, wearing size small.
I loved, loved this slouchy cardigan! It comes in two colors: this pink, and a gray. It’s cozy and perfectly sized. Great for wearing with leggings, too! Wearing size small, fits TTS.
These black jeans were the second (and last) pair of jeans I tried on. Despite the white spots thanks to the dirty mirror, I promise you’re they’re actually black! They’re stretchy and slightly distressed.

This off the shoulder sweater was one of my favorites! It’s slightly oversized, but I would probably would not size down if you want to wear it off the shoulder. Looks so cute with this lace cami!

How fun is this knot stitch sweater?! Also comes in white. Wearing size small, fits TTS.

This cozy turtleneck sweater comes in three colors: this minty green, a charcoal, and ivory.

I LOVED the texture and colors on this striped sweater! There’s a tiny little bit of sparkle too – which I’m typically not a fan of, but this had a minimal amount that I actually really liked. Fit is TTS, wearing size small.
This mock neck sweater comes in this pink color and also a yellow. Fit is TTS, wearing size small. You could size up for a slouchier fit on this and it would be cute too!
This fleece pullover is CRAZY popular (you’ve probably already seen it a million times!) and almost sold out, but they do re-stock. So so cozy! Fit is TTS, wearing size small.
I fell in love with this eyelash cardigan the second I saw it. It’s craaazy soft and the fit is the cutest. Probably my most favorite item from “part 1” of this try on! It’s a heavier material, not light. So its definitely for Fall/Winter. Fit is TTS, wearing size small.
The jeans I’m wearing here are ones I already owned (not from Nordstrom), but you can buy them here.
This boucle cardigan was another favorite. I REALLY love the ribbed sleeves. This one is a must buy if you’re looking for a great cardigan. Fit is TTS, wearing size small.
