Isn’t it crazy how full of adventures this life is? Never in a million years did I expect I would be living in Las Vegas, but here I am…attempting to stay out of the heat in my apartment complex’s “business center.” We don’t have internet or cable in our apartment yet, so the only place I can access wifi is right here. As for the lack of cable, I’ve been staying entertained by unpacking an enormous amount of STUFF (why in the world we have all of it is beyond me – we need to downsize. But that’s for another day.), taking care of our two dogs (who are alarmingly needy and anxious because of the move), organizing closets, and doing copious amounts of laundry. And season one of Game of Thrones. B got me hooked. I know, I know. I’m way behind the times. It was the same way with Breaking Bad. I prefer to watch TV shows after they have come out on DVD, marathon-binge style. Unhealthy? Maybe.
Anyway, below are some photos of our 23 + hour drive across the country. Yes, we drove. What else are you supposed to do with dogs? They were strangely well-behaved for the entire drive. I think they were saving it all up for our arrival to Vegas.
